While Ohio Lights Out is a statewide program, the Ohio Bird Conservation Initiative is working with partners to establish regional programs in four target cities: Columbus, Dayton, Cleveland, and Toledo. In each city, we have tried to establish partnerships with museums, universities, and rehabilitation facilities to help facilitate the monitoring aspect of the program. Click a logo below to get more information on each of the regional programs in our Ohio Lights Out network.
Note: We are currently developing Bird-Friendly Toledo with support from Black Swamp Bird Observatory, and we are in discussion with our friends at the Akron Zoo to expand Lights Out within the Akron area.
In addition to the buildings enrolled in the regional programs above, the following buildings elsewhere in the state are participating in Lights Out Ohio:
- John F. Seiberling Federal Building & U.S. Courthouse (2 S Main St., Akron, OH 44308)
- Thomas D. Lambros Federal Building & US Courthouse (125 Market St., Youngstown, OH 44503)
- Nathaniel R. Jones Federal Building & US Courthouse (10 E. Commerce St., Youngstown, OH 44503)
